My Story

At 18 I heard about a flight attendant opportunity and just went for it. Applied, got interviewed, flew to Denver for the big interview, studied harder than I ever had, flew to Florida for training. Three weeks of CPR, presentations, performing in front of 100+ people every single day. I didn’t make it all the way through — but that version of me was the bravest I’d ever been. She didn’t wait until she felt ready. She just went.

Somewhere between then and now I lost her. Life has a way of doing that. But Open to Inspire is me finding my way back — and building something that helps you do the same through creating art, speaking, and giving back.

CREATING ART

I’ve been doodling sketches and cartoons since I was 5 — but the first time I picked up a pastel, something shifted. I knew I’d never put them down. For a mind that never stops moving, art is the one place where everything goes quiet. I don’t start with a plan. I scribble, and I let the paper tell me what it wants to be — like looking up at a cloud and seeing an ice cream cone.

SPEAKING

No matter what I was going through, I always spoke it out. I wanted to be the breath of fresh air in a culture of pretending — because I never resonated with anything inauthentic. Through Open to Inspire, speaking happens through everything: the art, the YouTube channel, the giving back. All of it is a conversation.

GIVING BACK

We are more than an art print shop — we’re a mission. Instead of asking you to donate, we take 10% of our own profit every month and put it directly back into the community ourselves. Each month we choose one way to give, complete the mission, and share the whole story on our YouTube channel so you can see exactly where it goes.

And if you want to go further — you can. Show up to the events. Volunteer alongside us. Join the newsletter and become part of the OTI community.

Your purchase isn’t just art on your wall. It’s proof that creativity and giving back can live in the same place.
